The day I found my blog again...

It was today.  I found it today.  And have nothing else to say.

I'm sure we've been missed

So, I'm sure you've all been wondering-where is Chelsea?  What has been going on with her?  Did she go on a family trip to Rhode Island or something?!  Well if you were thinking that, you'd be on the right track.  We DID go on a family trip to Rhode Island!  My biggest brother (by biggest I mean oldest) got married in Connecticut a few weeks ago so the whole fambily came!  We got to stay in a Haunted Mansion, which I have zero pictures of, but if you follow Cessy on Instragram you've already seen most of them-she tried to post a picture a day.  So here are the pictures that I do have!
Sullivan on the beach in Misquamicut, Rhode Island-oh, you didn't know this place existed?!  Well it does.  And it's fabulous.

I'm sorry, but don't you love having a cousin like Sophie.  I know Tessa does (Tessa isn't so bad herself!).  That girl can take some pictures-notice the shocking difference between skin tones...Soph is lucky she got Ashlii's skin...

We went crabbing with my new SIL Julie's family-I was deathly ill, but it was still amazing.  You put squid on a string and crabs just come and attach themselves to it.  It's gross in a good way.

We ended up taking family pictures there, and this is the best one of my little family of four.  That is literally how Sullivan looks in all of them.

This was at the wedding-it was this gorgeous old plantation, and there was just a lot of photo ops...BUT, since we didn't even bring our camera, Alex got this with his phone.  And I can't upload the ones I have on my phone because I'm computer illiterate, so just imagine a really pretty girl in a cute new organza skirt with super high heels and a semi shaved head...are you picturing me?  You should be.

Sullivan going for a walk in the woods outside Julie's dad's house. (Julie is said SIL)
He looks old.

Wha, wha, what?  Alex met Mark Ruffalo.  He has the best luck with celebs...have you guys met Mark Ruffalo?  Or Neil Patrick Harris?  Or Gordon Ramsey?  Or Tracey Morgan?  Because Alex has...it's mostly the only reason I fell in love with him, which is weird since he met all those people after we had been married for like 4 years...

Sullivan became this type of child on the trip.  Apparently he likes having me as his mother...it's sooooo annoying. (but also I love it.)

Again, this is Tessa's cousin Sophie.  And again with the pictures.
Sullivan and Dexter, playing the haunted piano.  It was probably haunted...

We went to Dave and Buster's one of the days-and I may have beaten my dad in this b-ball game.  Then I realized it was a major fluke and lost by like 20.  And Devon was there too!!  He beat me too.

These pictures are way out of order, so sorry-but this was the reason for the season.  My brother and his wife-eating their cake...Isn't love great?

There was dancing-look at my dad.  He's terrific.  And this is a very unflattering picture of me-Ash and Rubie look good though.  But pay attention to Cecily (in black).  She's mid butt smack, probably.  And Cailey (in green) is most likely getting low while holding her sleeping two year old....

We took all the kids to the zoo one day while the boys drove to Boston for a Red Sox game.  It was just a zoo.

BUT they brought us home some Mike's Pastries!!  Gotta love them.
I can't remember the name of this place, but it was on Diner's, Drive-ins, and Dives.  It was pretty good.

Adult table.

All the children with their electronics.

And, this is the best picture ever.  Everyone was so scared.  Except my brother Cole.  He ain't afraid of no ghosts.

And that's it.  See you in 6 months!

Christmas

Alex called me this morning to tell me I've been slacking in blogging. Thanks boo. So anyway, since I don't really have anything to blog about except Christmas, that's the subject!! I know it was basically a month ago, but we had a great Christmas this year, so here it goes!
Every Christmas Eve we go to my parent's house for a huge dinner and presents. And huge might be an understatement. Seriously, we had to have 3 separate tables of food...it was ridic you guys. But of course, we have no pictures of that. What I did manage to get was a picture of my lil family. I also tried something out with Tessa's hair, on account of me not really having any. And I think I nailed it. My cute lil family. Sullivan isn't bruised, Alex gave him a highlighter to play with. And that doesn't come off. This wasn't a great picture of her hair, but it was all pin curled and then she has a super cute bump thing on the front. She was very vintage. And tattooed up, like her daddy.Better picture of her hair. And their LeapPad's they all got. And Sophie-that girl can do some photos.
Then the next morning we had our little Christmas celebration. Tessa had been asking and asking for this little storytelling Belle. She talks to all of her little friends and reads stories and sings to you. She played with her for a little bit, then asked if we could text Santa to return her so she could buy more games for her LeapPad that my parents gave her. He said it was cool. (That thing costs way more than it should.)Sully was super excited for all of his toys, that he ran into the kitchen and found this old candy in the drawer. This is what he carried around for most of the day. Successful Christmas. So all Alex wanted for Christmas/his birthday was an iPad. He researched them and found the best deal, and pretty much just bought it for himself. I even made him go pick it up from the store when it was delivered (I know, but have you tried taking two kids to Wal Mart alone? Better yet, have you tried taking Sullivan anywhere?!) I at least wrapped it. So he had no surprises at all.I, on the other hand, was shocked. He got me an iPad too!! It's like the Gift of the Magi. (JK, it's not at all like that.)
Then we went to the Osborne's for their celebration. They make a big breakfast and we all get to exchange presents with each other, which is always fun.

This is the first picture (I think) with all the cousins on the Osborne side. I realize my family outweighs this 2-1, but oh man aren't they all so cute. Molly is almost 3 months old and has more hair than Sullivan.Molly with her most fave aunt. I know I look like I'm in pain, but this was seriously the 5th picture Alex took. So I kinda was.Jordy had me this year and did not disappoint (I think he had help from Alex). I have been asking for Romy and Michele's High School Reunion since Alex and I got married. So 7 years later, I finally got it. From his little brother!

Anyway-this was a super long post, but our Christmas was awesome, obvi.

They so get me...

So this morning when I logged into my emails, I got a lovely message from Amazon with their recommendations for me. I believe this is based on previous purchases, but as I read them I thought, "Oh Amazon, you get me..." But then when I read them to Alex, his response was "huh. That's funny. That's pretty sad." So here they are-if you know me, you'll totally get this. I just copied the email, so don't try to READ MORE like it says. But I do have more to this blog on the bottom.

I mean, I totally get all of the Dr. Horrible stuff and even the Mad Scientist stuff, for obvious reasons. But Amazon missed the mark with Cool Runnings...I don't feel the rhythm and I don't feel the rhyme. I only feel Joss Whedon creations. My favorite part is that the rain boots are resistant to MOST chemicals...so probably a pretty solid purchase.

And who doesn't love The Big Green. I bet most people get that in their recommendations.

Tessa's Birthday

So even though I'm almost a month behind, I felt the need to blog! Tessa's birthday was the beginning of this month and since she was turning 5 I decided she should have an awesome birthday party. But holy crap, this is the last party she's ever having. She's finally at an age where she has a bunch of little friends, so she wanted all of them to come. Then, she has a bunch of cousins who she loves, so they all came too. So 17 kids under 5 later, I was spent. BUT, I nailed it. I totally almost Taylor-ed her birthday party and just had an awesome luncheon for my friends, but then I realized I only have like 2 friends that aren't my sisters/sister in laws and one lives out of state, so yeah... She had a bakery themed birthday party, so we converted our garage into a little bake shop thing...we had to line it with plastic from floor to ceiling. Alex then told me that we make an excellent kill room (Dexter fans will get this) and I said, "you wouldn't know, you don't even watch Dexter.." but I totally agree. We rocked it. Here are pictures... Tessa in her newly decorated apron. And she was dumping sprinkles on her cookie. One half of the party room. This is where my family mostly sat with the twins that live by us. When they sat down they said to Stone, "yeah, we're twins." It was fun.The other half. I didn't get a picture of the food table, but it was cute. I put cookie cutters in jars and everything. This is the picture I got of the food table. Dexter kept stealing oreos, taking a bite, then putting them back. He just didn't want anyone else to have them. But Sebs didn't care, he ate 3.See? Look how happy. This is Tessa opening presents. She was super excited for everything, as seen here.Gift of the year for her would be this outfit-way to go Stone and Seb...or your parents. She seriously lived in it for a week until I finally had to wash it. Look at that form...Then she got to be a special person at school, so she made a poster and took cupcakes. Last year she had just gotten her shots, which I like to do to my children right around their birthdays, so she was sick on her day. Not this year-she was crazy fine. And can't forget this lil guy. Little do you guys know that right before this he stole a cupcake from her...then right after he pulled her hair. He's a sweetie. And spare me the comments about how red his hair looks...I know, and I'm fine with it. It's fine. It's fine. I'm fine. It's fine.
We had a little party with my family and Alex's family, but I don't have those pictures on the computer yet, so sorry families...you guys were all there, so you know what it was like.
