So, I'm sure you've all been wondering-where is Chelsea? What has been going on with her? Did she go on a family trip to Rhode Island or something?! Well if you were thinking that, you'd be on the right track. We DID go on a family trip to Rhode Island! My biggest brother (by biggest I mean oldest) got married in Connecticut a few weeks ago so the whole fambily came! We got to stay in a Haunted Mansion, which I have zero pictures of, but if you follow Cessy on Instragram you've already seen most of them-she tried to post a picture a day. So here are the pictures that I do have!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oLwAtKO4E50/T-otBBOsLlI/AAAAAAAAB9M/j7x9QscSLfM/s1600/20120615_116.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oLwAtKO4E50/T-otBBOsLlI/AAAAAAAAB9M/j7x9QscSLfM/s320/20120615_116.JPG" width="214" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sullivan on the beach in Misquamicut, Rhode Island-oh, you didn't know this place existed?! Well it does. And it's fabulous.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--NjRTemW5Y0/T-otEl9PnfI/AAAAAAAAB9U/uDln40aGprI/s1600/20120615_132.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--NjRTemW5Y0/T-otEl9PnfI/AAAAAAAAB9U/uDln40aGprI/s320/20120615_132.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm sorry, but don't you love having a cousin like Sophie. I know Tessa does (Tessa isn't so bad herself!). That girl can take some pictures-notice the shocking difference between skin tones...Soph is lucky she got Ashlii's skin...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xbCYAhAvex8/T-otKrDLxXI/AAAAAAAAB9g/c3K4xyVCBKM/s1600/20120615_166.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xbCYAhAvex8/T-otKrDLxXI/AAAAAAAAB9g/c3K4xyVCBKM/s320/20120615_166.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We went crabbing with my new SIL Julie's family-I was deathly ill, but it was still amazing. You put squid on a string and crabs just come and attach themselves to it. It's gross in a good way.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mC5KaGGEFv8/T-otR_vktuI/AAAAAAAAB9o/05vefhpPoRo/s1600/20120615_201.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mC5KaGGEFv8/T-otR_vktuI/AAAAAAAAB9o/05vefhpPoRo/s320/20120615_201.JPG" width="214" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We ended up taking family pictures there, and this is the best one of my little family of four. That is literally how Sullivan looks in all of them.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-H8tIT3lF2wg/T-otToBv3QI/AAAAAAAAB9w/SqOOF3VnXX8/s1600/ct1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-H8tIT3lF2wg/T-otToBv3QI/AAAAAAAAB9w/SqOOF3VnXX8/s320/ct1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This was at the wedding-it was this gorgeous old plantation, and there was just a lot of photo ops...BUT, since we didn't even bring our camera, Alex got this with his phone. And I can't upload the ones I have on my phone because I'm computer illiterate, so just imagine a really pretty girl in a cute new organza skirt with super high heels and a semi shaved head...are you picturing me? You should be.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MfP5Ba3fJfg/T-otWKrYUaI/AAAAAAAAB94/y7LUSHb7rCw/s1600/ct2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MfP5Ba3fJfg/T-otWKrYUaI/AAAAAAAAB94/y7LUSHb7rCw/s320/ct2.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sullivan going for a walk in the woods outside Julie's dad's house. (Julie is said SIL) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He looks old.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k6CNq610xKM/T-otY9oLSRI/AAAAAAAAB-A/mZO7E_Psqng/s1600/ruffalo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k6CNq610xKM/T-otY9oLSRI/AAAAAAAAB-A/mZO7E_Psqng/s320/ruffalo.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Wha, wha, what? Alex met Mark Ruffalo. He has the best luck with celebs...have you guys met Mark Ruffalo? Or Neil Patrick Harris? Or Gordon Ramsey? Or Tracey Morgan? Because Alex has...it's mostly the only reason I fell in love with him, which is weird since he met all those people after we had been married for like 4 years...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-v4RfeZtJC1g/T-otcdUVamI/AAAAAAAAB-I/-9pY5LRejZY/s1600/20120615_239.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="246" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-v4RfeZtJC1g/T-otcdUVamI/AAAAAAAAB-I/-9pY5LRejZY/s320/20120615_239.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sullivan became this type of child on the trip. Apparently he likes having me as his mother...it's sooooo annoying. (but also I love it.)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PFaURdPUrTg/T-othKazrGI/AAAAAAAAB-Q/Q-Zo8w7WT7w/s1600/20120615_242.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PFaURdPUrTg/T-othKazrGI/AAAAAAAAB-Q/Q-Zo8w7WT7w/s320/20120615_242.JPG" width="220" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Again, this is Tessa's cousin Sophie. And again with the pictures. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-z0L_UaBTLMg/T-owWrBdKNI/AAAAAAAAB-c/1CECcGyyT7Q/s1600/20120615_170.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-z0L_UaBTLMg/T-owWrBdKNI/AAAAAAAAB-c/1CECcGyyT7Q/s320/20120615_170.JPG" width="214" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sullivan and Dexter, playing the haunted piano. It was probably haunted...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rkDe9WVaZiQ/T-owjfELZiI/AAAAAAAAB-k/kOiqqtX5ELk/s1600/2011-12-31+23.00.00-8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rkDe9WVaZiQ/T-owjfELZiI/AAAAAAAAB-k/kOiqqtX5ELk/s320/2011-12-31+23.00.00-8.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We went to Dave and Buster's one of the days-and I may have beaten my dad in this b-ball game. Then I realized it was a major fluke and lost by like 20. And Devon was there too!! He beat me too.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vFRDrGuuhWY/T-ow2d9kn3I/AAAAAAAAB-w/XpfmYrLlB4E/s1600/2012-06-09+11.33.53.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vFRDrGuuhWY/T-ow2d9kn3I/AAAAAAAAB-w/XpfmYrLlB4E/s320/2012-06-09+11.33.53.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These pictures are way out of order, so sorry-but this was the reason for the season. My brother and his wife-eating their cake...Isn't love great?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F2feO61KZyQ/T-ow61XdWhI/AAAAAAAAB-4/W7TuQMqbYrE/s1600/2012-06-09+12.26.34.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F2feO61KZyQ/T-ow61XdWhI/AAAAAAAAB-4/W7TuQMqbYrE/s320/2012-06-09+12.26.34.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There was dancing-look at my dad. He's terrific. And this is a very unflattering picture of me-Ash and Rubie look good though. But pay attention to Cecily (in black). She's mid butt smack, probably. And Cailey (in green) is most likely getting low while holding her sleeping two year old....</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We took all the kids to the zoo one day while the boys drove to Boston for a Red Sox game. It was just a zoo.</div>
<br />

And that's it. See you in 6 months!</div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-45035106483326963132012-01-09T15:23:00.000-08:002012-01-09T16:02:57.353-08:00Christmas<div align="center">Alex called me this morning to tell me I've been slacking in blogging. Thanks boo. So anyway, since I don't really have anything to blog about except Christmas, that's the subject!! I know it was basically a month ago, but we had a great Christmas this year, so here it goes!<br />Every Christmas Eve we go to my parent's house for a huge dinner and presents. And huge might be an understatement. Seriously, we had to have 3 separate tables of food...it was ridic you guys. But of course, we have no pictures of that. What I did manage to get was a picture of my lil family. I also tried something out with Tessa's hair, on account of me not really having any. And I think I nailed it. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695777829693132194" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-l8hvm28qbJo/Twt3wjJnjaI/AAAAAAAAB58/EUUvaotwgiw/s320/20120101_15.JPG" />My cute lil family. Sullivan isn't bruised, Alex gave him a highlighter to play with. And that doesn't come off.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 315px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695777839079488354" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J9k3iM15fDY/Twt3xGHf-2I/AAAAAAAAB6M/AGXjlg1vfBQ/s320/20120101_22.JPG" />This wasn't a great picture of her hair, but it was all pin curled and then she has a super cute bump thing on the front. She was very vintage. And tattooed up, like her daddy.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 258px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695782580498590722" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NTXEBBp-3nQ/Twt8FFR57AI/AAAAAAAAB68/BOBAqc-bR-4/s320/20120101_23.JPG" />Better picture of her hair. And their LeapPad's they all got. And Sophie-that girl can do some photos.<br />Then the next morning we had our little Christmas celebration. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695777865056053714" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nP_Ozh1QxXc/Twt3ym4y6dI/AAAAAAAAB6g/6jdTHe3QE1g/s320/20120101_28.JPG" />Tessa had been asking and asking for this little storytelling Belle. She talks to all of her little friends and reads stories and sings to you. She played with her for a little bit, then asked if we could text Santa to return her so she could buy more games for her LeapPad that my parents gave her. He said it was cool. (That thing costs way more than it should.)<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695777862822848370" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kaQgt52XkCM/Twt3yekW53I/AAAAAAAAB6U/-A3G9Fboc3c/s320/20120101_24.JPG" />Sully was super excited for all of his toys, that he ran into the kitchen and found this old candy in the drawer. This is what he carried around for most of the day. Successful Christmas.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695782586984404898" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DERZ7j9wWWA/Twt8FdcPl6I/AAAAAAAAB7I/P2wd09lxd9Y/s320/20120101_36.JPG" />So all Alex wanted for Christmas/his birthday was an iPad. He researched them and found the best deal, and pretty much just bought it for himself. I even made him go pick it up from the store when it was delivered (I know, but have you tried taking two kids to Wal Mart alone? Better yet, have you tried taking Sullivan anywhere?!) I at least wrapped it. So he had no surprises at all.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5695777875487454626" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8aa0W6HCJkk/Twt3zNv1daI/AAAAAAAAB6s/1L5gJVpUX10/s320/20120101_37.JPG" />I, on the other hand, was shocked. He got me an iPad too!! It's like the Gift of the Magi. (JK, it's not at all like that.)<br />Then we went to the Osborne's for their celebration. I realize my family outweighs this 2-1, but oh man aren't they all so cute. I know I look like I'm in pain, but this was seriously the 5th picture Alex took. I have been asking for Romy and Michele's High School Reunion since Alex and I got married. So 7 years later, I finally got it. So here they are-if you know me, you'll totally get this. I just copied the email, so don't try to READ MORE like it says. Tessa's birthday was the beginning of this month and since she was turning 5 I decided she should have an awesome birthday party. But holy crap, this is the last party she's ever having. She's finally at an age where she has a bunch of little friends, so she wanted all of them to come. Then, she has a bunch of cousins who she loves, so they all came too. So 17 kids under 5 later, I was spent. BUT, I nailed it. I totally almost Taylor-ed her birthday party and just had an awesome luncheon for my friends, but then I realized I only have like 2 friends that aren't my sisters/sister in laws and one lives out of state, so yeah... She had a bakery themed birthday party, so we converted our garage into a little bake shop thing...we had to line it with plastic from floor to ceiling. Alex then told me that we make an excellent kill room (Dexter fans will get this) and I said, "you wouldn't know, you don't even watch Dexter.." but I totally agree. We rocked it. Here are pictures...<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680151646273695746" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7WLxIwU3t54/TtPz09p-cAI/AAAAAAAAB2M/_7loNIR9ULo/s320/20111127_30.JPG" /> Tessa in her newly decorated apron. And she was dumping sprinkles on her cookie.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680151653028193906" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CUV1F40tB-A/TtPz1W0X5nI/AAAAAAAAB2Y/LP9CO0t7dfw/s320/20111127_24.JPG" />One half of the party room. This is where my family mostly sat with the twins that live by us. When they sat down they said to Stone, "yeah, we're twins." It was fun.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680151660461555170" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yNodABdIo70/TtPz1ygn_eI/AAAAAAAAB2k/zw18dsOp83U/s320/20111127_27.JPG" />The other half. I didn't get a picture of the food table, but it was cute. I put cookie cutters in jars and everything.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680151669646482530" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R-idMQupLB4/TtPz2Uue3GI/AAAAAAAAB2w/Ld-Tl6XPzMY/s320/20111127_48.JPG" />This is the picture I got of the food table. Dexter kept stealing oreos, taking a bite, then putting them back. He just didn't want anyone else to have them. But Sebs didn't care, he ate 3.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680153684882214722" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JtOCy408aPE/TtP1roEHz0I/AAAAAAAAB3I/0NyQPuPa-VI/s320/20111127_46.JPG" />See? Look how happy.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680151685277031282" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-B1xr4Uv1nzY/TtPz3O9GG3I/AAAAAAAAB28/0MRpBFNK2mk/s320/20111127_49.JPG" />This is Tessa opening presents. She was super excited for everything, as seen here.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680153687931199026" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mA_jAwFLqT4/TtP1rzbDnjI/AAAAAAAAB3U/R7nwlyTqA8A/s320/20111127_56.JPG" />Gift of the year for her would be this outfit-way to go Stone and Seb...or your parents. She seriously lived in it for a week until I finally had to wash it. Look at that form...<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680153699756208802" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FX5BialvOz8/TtP1sfeW8qI/AAAAAAAAB3g/KodwluygGgc/s320/20111127_60.JPG" />Then she got to be a special person at school, so she made a poster and took cupcakes. Last year she had just gotten her shots, which I like to do to my children right around their birthdays, so she was sick on her day. Not this year-she was crazy fine.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680153706798253954" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DgsqCzs1ypk/TtP1s5tUB4I/AAAAAAAAB3s/2wKQ9UP1cTM/s320/20111127_62.JPG" />And can't forget this lil guy. Little do you guys know that right before this he stole a cupcake from her...then right after he pulled her hair. He's a sweetie. And spare me the comments about how red his hair looks...I know, and I'm fine with it. It's fine. It's fine. I'm fine. It's fine.<br />We had a little party with my family and Alex's family, but I don't have those pictures on the computer yet, so sorry families...you guys were all there, so you know what it was like. </div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-2030490666642107142011-11-14T09:43:00.000-08:002011-11-14T09:50:41.452-08:00Another Birthday...<div align="center">So August-December is huge for birthdays for the Madsen/Osborne family. Tessa is 5 years old today. I can't believe I have a 5 year old...I'm still so young, so it's crayzay. She woke up today in the best of moods, as she always does, and told me 'not to touch her because she has to wake up to being 5 years old'...Bless her lil heart. I then asked her if she felt older and wiser, and she said "No, stop looking at me." So five years old is off to a great start! Feels about the same as when she was four...but you've got to love her little attitude. She perked up when she was finally awake enough, so she doesn't always talk like that...she's not a morning person, like her mother. Anyway, I'll post more about all her birthday celebratory events when I get the pictures up!</div><br /><div align="center">HAPPY BIRTHDAY TESSA! WE LOVE YOU!!</div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-60269757670796817222011-10-24T21:27:00.000-07:002011-10-24T21:39:10.230-07:00Happy Birthday!!<div align="center">So I'm the worst. I realized that I totally forgot to give a shout out for my nephew Stone's b-day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY STONEY!!!!! </div><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DdP7WTWCMWk/TqY7WhpMZaI/AAAAAAAAB1M/6ovIpRSFDDg/s1600/DSC_0578.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667282439266657698" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DdP7WTWCMWk/TqY7WhpMZaI/AAAAAAAAB1M/6ovIpRSFDDg/s320/DSC_0578.JPG" /></a> I know-cutest picture ever. Stone is Tessa's best friend. They fight like brother and sister, but absolutely love each other. This lil guy turned 5 the other day! I remember the day he was born...for realsies, it will forever be burned into my brain-I walked into the delivery moments after he was delivered...no one told me it would be so terrifying. But I can't believe he's 5. We love you!</div><br /><div align="center">AND-on another birthday note-Alex's little sister Leslie had her baby girl (finally, right Les?). I'll let her blog all about the new addition, but I figured I'd share the pictures of my family with her. This is Molly Sue! And we're totally jealous of her full head of hair...well, Sully is jealous.<br /></div><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wZ6QxPK1_P0/TqY7WDJnFQI/AAAAAAAAB1A/WmDeKOQKNNc/s1600/Tess%2Band%2BMolly.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667282431081125122" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wZ6QxPK1_P0/TqY7WDJnFQI/AAAAAAAAB1A/WmDeKOQKNNc/s320/Tess%2Band%2BMolly.jpg" /></a> Tessa predicted she'd have a full head of hair-and I was shocked when she was right...but Tess has always been pretty clairvoyant. If you can't see, it's in a curled mohawk. Like full on curled...<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--dXJcst5zWg/TqY7VtenDrI/AAAAAAAAB00/c2n68kftDEg/s1600/Sully%2Band%2BMolly.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667282425263623858" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--dXJcst5zWg/TqY7VtenDrI/AAAAAAAAB00/c2n68kftDEg/s320/Sully%2Band%2BMolly.jpg" /></a> This is the closest he's allowed to be to her. I know I do. So Tessa started preschool again this year, which she was super excited for because apparently they are learning to read. And in her own words "someone needs to teach me to read, because you (as in me, her loving mother) aren't doing a thing around here." So naturally I decided to focus on what was most important as she started school-her outfit. And we nailed it.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657196857721182338" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hBWAwsKgRmA/ToJmkajtWII/AAAAAAAAB0E/6XcFY752gGY/s320/20110917_6.JPG" /></span> <br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">First day of school pose. Yep. It's a denim mini skirt and knee high riding boots...I remember having one of these every year on our front porch. One year I swear I was wearing a windbreaker...it was during my fat stage.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657196865277863650" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rIcqUMd5Mpk/ToJmk2tXJuI/AAAAAAAAB0M/6rA46Lq1BzU/s320/20110917_8.JPG" /></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Tessa on the cute bench outside of her class. She got so embarrassed that I made her sit there so I could take her picture. I mean it was a full on eye roll and "MOM-MY!" Bless her heart.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657196867218072786" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HCoreM5Fd9Y/ToJmk978ZNI/AAAAAAAAB0U/abXjZy3vRB8/s320/20110917_11.JPG" /></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Tessa and her BFF, Gracie. We totally carpool with her. I'll keep you all posted on her reading progress-so far she can read Cat. But I think she actually memorized what it looks like, so we'll see.</span></div><br /></div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-32010921004294967432011-09-27T17:02:00.001-07:002011-09-27T17:08:20.206-07:00Tessa's Transformation<div align="center">So a few days before Tessa started preschool, which is highlighted later, we decided she needed to get a haircut...and feather extensions. So we went on down to Cookie Cutters...where there was a 3 hour wait. So we went back 3 hours later! And it was seriously shocking how much hair they cut. This girl had a lot of hair.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657194826748192114" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Pqhy_8wSrcI/ToJkuMmA5XI/AAAAAAAABzs/W_RmEQgUZtk/s320/20110917_1.JPG" /></div><br /><div align="center">Before-she was trying her hardest not to pose...but it got her hand.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657194835321339458" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C5oD8nNAbCM/ToJkusiAvkI/AAAAAAAABz8/xwjaX51W1jg/s320/20110917_4.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657194830787504386" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RPQX8PO7bRc/ToJkubpD6QI/AAAAAAAABz0/1DszE9Td0kY/s320/20110917_3.JPG" /><br /><br />After-ugh I love her.<br /></div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-25608203426091240022011-09-27T16:50:00.000-07:002011-09-27T17:02:09.224-07:00Try #2<div align="center"><span style="font-family:verdana;">In Alex's massive effort to get Tessa to become a lesbian, we signed her up for soccer...again. JK, it was my idea this time. I didn't want her to be the only one of her friends not on the team...it would be like Rudy, except she doesn't want to play. So here are her pictures! And for the record, I don't think soccer players are lesbians. But be warned this may be the longest post I've ever done. So I'll just dive right in. We went to California with Alex's family a little bit ago and it was super fun! It is so nice to be able to go on a vacay and just hang with the fam. PLUS, Sullivan was glued to Alex's dad the entire time, and Tessa doesn't really care for us, so we basically didn't even have to watch our kids the whole time. JK, we watched them...while other people held them and fed them. Alex took like 500 pictures, so I'll just get to it.
<br />
<br />Mindy's sister and her kids all live in Cali, so when we go we get to spend time with them. Alex's cousin's in laws (are you following me) are building a house in an area that has access to a private beach, so on the first day we were there we got to hang out all day. It is seriously the best. I mean, when I go to the beach I don't usually get in the water or get up to walk on the sand, but it is really nice to be able to sit and watch everyone else when it's just your family to watch. I just really hate strangers...</div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 236px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640579309585274674" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Jfgf2msjoYg/Tkdc_zs_lzI/AAAAAAAABvk/hb8MS-oAGPU/s320/DSC_0188.JPG" />Our family picture. Sullivan was dying to get away from me and eat sand...so was Alex.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640576841435123762" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--9nREKR8T5o/TkdawJIJEDI/AAAAAAAABtE/nZWjmGV_ILU/s320/16.jpg" /> Tessa and Ella-and a starfish. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640578693113917506" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CU1BixHWIfg/Tkdcb7KxMEI/AAAAAAAABvU/ociFdlvHrnA/s320/DSC_0158.JPG" />Obviously, this is Alex and me. It's just a cute picture.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 226px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640578684227377698" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1eKlvylXxPQ/TkdcbaEDWiI/AAAAAAAABvE/9YzntJYG6pc/s320/DSC_0136.JPG" />There is a little cove with a bunch of sea urchins and starfish stuck to these rocks, so Sullivan had the time of his life just poking them. They would squirt water as they closed up, so it kept him entertained for a long time...<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640578678402550450" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Sz7evB5CAzI/TkdcbEXTirI/AAAAAAAABu8/1pGvuXVRKp8/s320/DSC_0133.JPG" />Until he inevitably tried to eat them.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 181px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640578674502127298" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TOyAFT_TeDA/Tkdca11XzsI/AAAAAAAABu0/e43H53Ae5Og/s320/DSC_0114-1.jpg" />Jordy and Sully. The kids LOVE Jordy...and he's single ladies...I think.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 281px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577937373638370" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8rERrR3lSuQ/Tkdbv70PruI/AAAAAAAABus/al1lE9pc95s/s320/DSC_0087.JPG" />Tessa made Jordy bury her, but she wouldn't put her head in the sand, so she used her kickboard.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577931011598034" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DD8MsI9wws0/TkdbvkHaptI/AAAAAAAABuk/r7W1FmanRRU/s320/DSC_0084.JPG" />Am I overloading people with pictures of this kid? I don't care...he's just so darn adorable.
<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577929118168418" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1uiIXFNXQlI/TkdbvdD_NWI/AAAAAAAABuc/K_4spWwpi3Y/s320/DSC_0080.JPG" />There is a swing set there that is high enough for adults...so I jumped from it. Sorry about the cleavage shot...this was be preparing to jump. There isn't a picture after I jumped because I was rolling down the hill in the sand. I totally nailed it.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640576844521161586" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JeVr2iOQI78/TkdawUn6Q3I/AAAAAAAABtM/O38fc0UxHJU/s320/21.jpg" />The kids with the grandparents.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577921563837954" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ikZSbGOehrg/TkdbvA65RgI/AAAAAAAABuU/R0_OyeO-aYA/s320/DSC_0065.JPG" />
<br />
<br />
<br /><div>I don't know what is going on with his face in the picture, but it is funny. That shovel is really freaking him out.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577408180319874" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3C1CPhsebZE/TkdbRIaudoI/AAAAAAAABt8/rns6VMfPApI/s320/DSC_0030.JPG" />Me and Sully on the swings. I never wear waterproof mascara, but I figured I'd do it on this trip...so glad I did, or these pictures would be horrifying.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577408032314914" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7lS4sE61k2U/TkdbRH3cFiI/AAAAAAAABt0/FcGBBJ3ZAw0/s320/DSC_0024.JPG" />Again on the swing.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640577405233492514" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JvYJBKUSPU4/TkdbQ9cJciI/AAAAAAAABts/pLEOyoPHPbU/s320/DSC_0014.JPG" />Alex, Sullivan, and his cousin Parker. Parker is going to film school right now, so he's probably going to be famous one day...and I know him. But I call him Porker, because it's funnier that way. So TMZ, come find me when you need a cute anecdote about him.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640584015267108578" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DF5EmZ29Ikw/TkdhRtu-FuI/AAAAAAAAByU/0_34EL37seE/s320/30.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<br /><div>These are all the cousins/in laws. Me (in a hat...weird, but you should have seen my hair. It was nasty) Alex, Bill and Shawni (they are my faves), Leslie and Doug, then Parker, Lance, and Jordy. I seriously love these cousins-I told Alex that the only place I'd ever move outside of Utah is Southern California just because I'd be able to hang out with these guys...plus their kids are the cutest. They rival my own kids.</div>
<br />
<br /><div>We also went to Disneyland while we were there. I think we all figured it would be fun for the kiddos, but Lance put it well-in theory, amusement parks should be fun, but when you get there, the reality of it is that it's so hot, you wait in line forever, naps are thrown off, you have to walk a long time, it's so crowded, and everything is expensive. So Tessa had an off day. She was actually ok, but she had more than a few freak out moments. And you better believe she got to buy anything she wanted. Except a Sleeping Beauty dress, because it was $65 dollars. I checked Disney.com when we came home, and on there it is only $35, so I'm glad we didn't give in on that one...plus Alex would have flipped if he'd bought it then found out we could have saved $30...that was a random tangent...onto the pics: </div>
<br />
<br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580145135962178" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9QyJim-Ax9M/TkddwcXzSEI/AAAAAAAABwU/GJksMvpz4FU/s320/DSC_0229.JPG" /> Jungle Safari-Sully loved it, except the piranhas-they freaked him out a little. I should have prepped him by renting Piranha 3D before we left. My bad.
<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 174px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580139805578770" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pQnm3laen_o/TkddwIg8FhI/AAAAAAAABwM/R2L5z4nw8Co/s320/DSC_0232.JPG" /> This was when Tessa was good-we went on a lot of the smaller rides like Mr. Toad and Snow White, and she loved them. Plus she didn't have to walk at all since the boys all took turns doing this.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 198px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580137483567570" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GvTyoxHarhs/Tkddv_3VAdI/AAAAAAAABwE/9rR87HePHF0/s320/DSC_0226.JPG" /> Sleeping Beauty's castle. This was Tessa's favorite part, because all she wanted to see was Sleeping Beauty. And she did! <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MIuCNNWK9sQ/TkddAroMVdI/AAAAAAAABv8/Ew9ZWG-KW4o/s1600/DSC_0197.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640579324597523922" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MIuCNNWK9sQ/TkddAroMVdI/AAAAAAAABv8/Ew9ZWG-KW4o/s320/DSC_0197.JPG" /></a> Tessa on the Bug's Life 3D ride. She still is talking about how the grasshopper spit in her face. She loved it.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NYNxLV1qplA/TkddAYZn2mI/AAAAAAAABv0/hGr4k3mWxxA/s1600/DSC_0201.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640579319436139106" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NYNxLV1qplA/TkddAYZn2mI/AAAAAAAABv0/hGr4k3mWxxA/s320/DSC_0201.JPG" /></a> We didn't have a hat for Sully, so we bought this one...money well spent, wouldn't you agree? It definitely brings out the red in his hair. <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c1KnSlzfmrE/Tkdc_sSp7_I/AAAAAAAABvc/oyN6rccd6HA/s1600/DSC_0194.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640579307595755506" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-c1KnSlzfmrE/Tkdc_sSp7_I/AAAAAAAABvc/oyN6rccd6HA/s320/DSC_0194.JPG" /></a> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zmULdqvZDhk/TkdcbsqZxuI/AAAAAAAABvM/_7IjdjklydA/s1600/DSC_0138.JPG"></a>This was our method of transportation. Tessa hated it though, she wanted someone to carry Sullivan the whole time. So Trace pretty much did. We have other pictures, but Alex hasn't gone through and edited them yet, so I can't find them. One thing that we did that was amazing was the World of Colors show. If you are going to Disneyland anytime soon, it's at California Adventure, and it is seriously the most amazing thing. I almost cried about 7 times while watching it. It's like the Bellagio fountains on crack. And they show snippets of Disney movies in the mist of the water, which is so cute. It was my favorite part of the whole day. That and when a stilt walker winked at me...he was dressed as a monkey, so it was a big deal.
<br />One night we walked down to the pier to eat at Ruby's. It's always fun to see all the fishermen and surfers at night, and the kids actually really liked it. Except there was one point that Tessa gagged because of the strong fish smell...she doesn't do smells.
<br /></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 220px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640576848834760626" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WarIKm0iUtU/TkdawksWj7I/AAAAAAAABtc/Ys2aBHjaVxY/s320/CSC_0442.JPG" />The family-Alex said that I'm definitely the weak link in this picture, but I think someone must have said something funny right then, because I'm obviously laughing at something...
<br />Sully and Jordy again. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580823561412226" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ajZ13caZZjI/TkdeX7tCHoI/AAAAAAAABwk/vdRptRFPbDg/s320/DSC_0243.JPG" />Our little family on the pier. Sullivan was probably about to cry because he saw Trace. It was seriously amazing.
<br />
<br />We went to San Diego one of the days. We visited Old Town, which also held the Mormon Battalion Museum thing (I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but they had free parking! JK. It was cool). So we went on a little tour. It was cute because it had this thing where the pictures actually come to life and tell the stories, and you walk around an old building and then outside you can do things like pan for gold or pump water or brick lay. It was actually super cute and fun. But I did realize that I need to probably brush up on some church history, because I had no idea what it was or anything about it when we got there. So I felt out of the loop!<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580827779874530" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ATERihpGLTA/TkdeYLayvuI/AAAAAAAABws/Mv0oscyDqfk/s320/DSC_0264.JPG" />They had this little wagon out front that was perfect for photo ops. Obviously.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582233126294578" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qRU4xfG1MF4/Tkdfp-vfVDI/AAAAAAAABxE/wbJvJtl8RdA/s320/DSC_0281.JPG" />Me and Jordy outside in the area where you could do stuff. So this is what we were doing.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580836951981474" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ci3YrtsU-HQ/TkdeYtll_aI/AAAAAAAABw8/OQDowQo-lIQ/s320/DSC_0300.JPG" />Tessa and the boys bricklaying. Then they would knock it down.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640580832943268354" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TEAhqLr5DEQ/TkdeYep14gI/AAAAAAAABw0/eqRliGwDKak/s320/DSC_0270.JPG" />Sullivan loved this water pump. It would have kept him entertained for hours.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582247812081058" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6sFX1OlNlGg/Tkdfq1c2paI/AAAAAAAABxk/4Oi4TYePBEQ/s320/DSC_0328.JPG" />Tessa and her ice cream. Just chocolate.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582238689108546" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G697kBHT46g/TkdfqTdxIkI/AAAAAAAABxU/umU6BAQvOPo/s320/DSC_0325.JPG" />I let Sully share mine, which he loved and I thought was so cute...until this happened...<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582243424100850" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dn_1p2z1igA/TkdfqlGrYfI/AAAAAAAABxc/gwAJmgJMqZU/s320/DSC_0323.JPG" />He also bit my lip. Multiple times.
<br />
<br />
<br /><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dl_ddwE_2jE/TkhcOXvhA0I/AAAAAAAABys/ZWecBxCsKt0/s1600/DSC_0301.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640859935242781506" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dl_ddwE_2jE/TkhcOXvhA0I/AAAAAAAABys/ZWecBxCsKt0/s320/DSC_0301.JPG" /></a> Proof that Doug and Leslie were there too! This is just a cute picture of the two of them...
<br />
<br />There was a lot more beach time and pool time and eating time and shopping time, but we didn't get those pictures, or they are awaiting the editing process. But we did manage to do some family pictures, half of which are not edited, so I actually only have a few of them, but here they are.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582768874482034" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3ODiwf_KPyA/TkdgJKjz6XI/AAAAAAAABxs/1KAKBSHXxCM/s320/DSC_0331.JPG" />Not this one, this is just Sullivan with sunglasses on.
<br />
<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640598519857160018" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eHoTe_SCkTw/Tkdud_iuH1I/AAAAAAAAByc/AeY8dSxJtvg/s320/DSC_0351.JPG" />Cute, right?<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 56px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640598519826217074" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UdkHDWdBm90/Tkdud_bV-HI/AAAAAAAAByk/QpzT9zP7TrQ/s320/DSC_0343.JPG" />Trace is obviously telling Sully something really important. And this is what Sullivan's reaction is.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582770428933234" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F_BRKGsT1o8/TkdgJQWa9HI/AAAAAAAABx0/8Qz4bGKuEwk/s320/DSC_0338.JPG" />When Alex was going through the pictures, he made me explain to him what was going on in this one. So I was telling Jordy that sometimes when Alex sets up the camera and tries to find where everyone should stand, I know that he takes pictures just in case there is a candid moment that's super cute. So I always try to pose while he is doing it and I make sure that I always do different faces. Jordy obviously was impressed with this...
<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 223px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640582786812048466" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VFO0fw34LS4/TkdgKNYddFI/AAAAAAAAByM/8rg7txw-Z-4/s320/DSC_0346-1.jpg" />This is just one of many cute ones. But I think this one turned out awesome. <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cgreKE9ABsc/TkhcOqSntVI/AAAAAAAABy0/bkVB8nrWBPg/s1600/DSC_0405.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 194px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640859940221859154" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cgreKE9ABsc/TkhcOqSntVI/AAAAAAAABy0/bkVB8nrWBPg/s320/DSC_0405.JPG" /></a> Cute family, right!? It was seriously so much fun. I have an awesome in-law family. I'm not just saying that because they read my blog, I really do love that I married a non-crazy, non-annoying family. And even when they do fight on family trips it's the best. That's probably what I love the most! The End!</div>

Sorry Alex, not all of us can work full time, go to school full time, and take care of YOUR kids so blogging wasn't my priority...<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">jk</span>, I love blogging. </div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EYv5NQ8cmMI/TiXAzCNZd5I/AAAAAAAABsM/PjbirVtNid8/s320/DSC_0012.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631118892095600530" /><div style="text-align: center;">This is the morning of his birthday. Luckily he had Tessa to open every single present. </div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eWnn8VxSbzg/TiXAy-_IwsI/AAAAAAAABsE/xBx0IBjXQUE/s320/DSC_0006.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631118891230479042" /><div style="text-align: center;">I mean every one.</div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">So for Sullivan's birthday party I decided to make it a monster theme, mainly because I found a super cute cake on <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Bakerella</span>, and a bunch of monster stuff at Oriental Trading...and Sully loves monsters-he doesn't know it yet, but he does. Our whole family had been sick the entire week, so it was super lucky that everything turned out well...especially this adorable cake that I made...not to toot my own horn, but <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">OMG</span> isn't it cute?</div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-duk_ajbGHIs/TiXAyg1KeII/AAAAAAAABr8/zU8HWWwhch8/s320/DSC_0021.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631118883135584386" /><div style="text-align: center;">It may or may not have started melting shortly after this picture was taken, so it spent most of the party in the fridge.</div><div style="text-align: center;">I have a bunch of pictures of the actual party, but now blogger is telling me my requests are bad...so picture everyone having fun. That's what it looks like in my pictures.</div><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aJHL990tcsk/TiXAzilx5QI/AAAAAAAABsU/lypfPc02bHM/s320/DSC_0039.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631118900787799298" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /><div style="text-align: center;">Sully with his first taste of his cupcake.</div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6IkLvLDbhTc/TiXAz0CssnI/AAAAAAAABsc/BE5pp29TRWQ/s320/DSC_0043.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631118905472496242" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">And the last taste...this is what he looks like after every meal. No joke.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">So that was his party-too bad all the other pictures were badly requested! </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">Anyway, just in case you were all wondering if my baby is huge or not...he's not! We took him to the doctor and he is AVERAGE. Weird right? He is 50% for his height and 24% for his weight!! I would never have thought one of my babies would be below the 90<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">th</span> for anything, but he is. It's really weird, because he just looks so fat...</span></div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-76605075555803014622011-07-19T10:15:00.000-07:002011-07-19T12:00:03.725-07:00What my days look like...<div style="text-align: center;">Hey. So as most of you may or may not know, I work from home most days. Tessa is usually playing outside or with her little friend across the street, so my main concern while working is Sullivan. And seriously, that kid is concerning. When Tessa was little, she was not interested in the stairs. Or the spaces behind the couches. Or electrical outlets. But Sullivan cannot stop exploring those things. He seriously doesn't sit still, unless he's asleep. I've heard that boys are like that, but I seriously had no idea..</div><div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WWeN6SDWgco/TiXQOBZLyNI/AAAAAAAABss/nnuQ2aFJi5M/s320/DSC_0002.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5631135848407484626" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">This is after he's crawled out from behind the couch. So I'm sure people have heard about the Up house out in Herriman, but if you haven't....they built the Up house in Herriman. Filled in?! I thought you'd enjoy that...so on Saturday we were having our bathroom tiled/demolished, so we had to get out of our house to have Sullivan fall asleep (which he didn't, don't worry) so we took the kiddos out to see the Up house. It was adorable. Alex thought it was ugly, but that's because he has no positive outlook on life...no big deal. And when we were pulling out of the driveway, I said "did you grab the camera?" and Alex said "nope" and then kept on a-rollin. And no, I'm not speaking of Tyrese Gibson, although fun fact, the movie Baby Boy was released on July 1, 2001...happy 10 year anniversary...anyway, happy FIRST birthday to Sullivan! Sorry mommy is lying on the couch almost dead...but thanks for giving me the flu. I bought him a musical tool bench and all I got was this stinking virus...JK, sort of. Here are a few lil pictures of him in case y'all forgot what he looks like...<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624485802418287218" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nJn-Ss_lv7g/Tg4wCZlesnI/AAAAAAAABqs/IaANxf5PwDc/s320/2010%2Bpics%2B002.jpg" border="0" />UGH-eat him up. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624485816973832626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wIx3LlW0LEI/Tg4wDPzysbI/AAAAAAAABq8/frnj5FEQjn0/s320/2010%2Bpics%2B028.jpg" border="0" />Just bundled up.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624485821092581058" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-b7-va0bHzXE/Tg4wDfJxzsI/AAAAAAAABrE/QFQFkGniK9w/s320/2010%2Bpics%2B089.jpg" border="0" />This was that time we decided to ship him to Alaska...JK.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5624485807532218594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-NhSe2_Nyn7s/Tg4wCsovGOI/AAAAAAAABq0/ixf0jUB07J8/s320/DSC_0247.jpg" border="0" />Wha...how'd that get in there...I love these pictures!<br /></div>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-87955393065496294172011-06-29T10:03:00.000-07:002011-06-29T10:06:36.681-07:00Poor Kids<div align="center">So both of my kids decided last night to start puking...a lot. And not just once every few hours. Every half hour. For a while, they were alternating every 15 minutes, so Tessa would get done, then as soon as we got it all cleaned up, Sullivan would go. It's terrible. But they both fell asleep, and I think I have about 20 minutes before one of them (or both of them) starts puking again...<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623689039394879362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s_xDeToGnvQ/TgtbYsBjt4I/AAAAAAAABqk/eK9Bi8dmKOk/s320/tessa%2Bsick.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><p align="center">Look at this poor kid...she has her bowl, her sprite, her water, her toast, and her towel...I can't even show how gross Sully looks. </p>Alex, Chelsea, and Tessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06355181357807718300noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1864526437759194384.post-63810182166123911932011-06-28T11:07:00.000-07:002011-06-28T12:43:18.663-07:00Can You Believe It?!<div style="text-align: center;">Wow, it has been a while, right? I bet you were missing me. For some reason our pictures wouldn't update on blogger, so I didn't feel motivated to figure out what was wrong, so blogging was put on the back burner. Turns out I just had to turn off my computer...crazy technology, right? And since I thought everyone is wondering what's happened to me, I figured today was the day! So I figured I'd neglect the children for a bit and update! Sullivan has already pulled the gate that blocks our stairs down on him about 7 times this week, so I figure he's fine to roam the house. If he gets hurt, he'll learn, right? And Tessa isn't talking to me anyway. I won't let her watch Pretty Little Liars, so she's a bit upset. Bless her heart. Anyway, not much has gone on in the lives of us, except we have a new neice! Scarlett Jean is here, and I wish I had proof, but I don't. I didn't have my camera to take any cute pictures of her, but she's great. Just check out my sister's blog. It was also the Utah Art's Festival, which I also don't have any pictures of...I'm terrible at picture taking lately. But don't worry, it was fun. I just realized I don't really have a lot of things to talk about. SO...you guys know my baby? You know, Sullivan? Well, he's turning one on Friday. ONE. Who would've thunk it. And we totally didn't screw him up! And even though he's not one for 3 more days, I would like to officially give him a shout out, since I probably won't blog again for another month...JK. I know y'all can't live without me. But here are some super cute pictures of my baby.</div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kMnCI33TU7Q/TgoZfFC82zI/AAAAAAAABqM/ZCL9PeQs9j8/s320/DSC_0094.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623335106446678834" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span><div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#0000EE;">This is Sullivan's new face. I told Alex I needed to run on the treadmill, but instead I'm doing this. Silly Alex...<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">JK</span>. I already ran a whole mile, so I'm good for the week. Anyway, this year the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Madsen family</span> went back to Myrtle Beach aka Murder Beach aka Heaven. It did not disappoint. Last year I was 12 months pregnant, so I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I could have. And I realize now that it is way better when you are only semi fat instead of super fat. And when you can fit shoes on your feet. I can't even sort through all the pictures we have, but I'm gonna try since I know most of you have been all, "I miss Chelsea-where has she been?" <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Travelin</span>, that's where. So here you are...</div><div style="text-align: center;">There were many events that we got to experience this year-the first day we were there was Easter, so we decided to go to church. </div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xFyZPGIRo9U/TdII9ubdeJI/AAAAAAAABoA/5HkjTMGVL6c/s320/DSC_0067.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5607554342557939858" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span><div style="text-align: center;">Our little family in our Easter blacks. It's totally the new pastel. And yes, every person in my family commented on how <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">unspringy</span> we all looked. But there was an emergency-I look really good in black. And this was the cutest picture I could get of Sully's face...he's usually much more attractive. When we got to the church, we were informed that it had been Stake Conference. I don't have a copy of the picture of all of us overjoyed that we didn't have to actually sit through sacrament with all the kids. It's a good one though.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">It was also the first time ever that Sully has swam. He absolutely loved it. He was amazing-he loved the pool, he loved the ocean, he loves baths-anything with water really. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-I41QNUsW8O4/TdII9-ruf3I/AAAAAAAABoI/Tb7QItAZHdI/s320/DSC_0092.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5607554346921131890" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">See the joy?</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I6np4o3T4_0/TdIKOT73iPI/AAAAAAAABoo/87V7fGcJOdI/s320/DSC_0260.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5607555727015512306" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 214px; height: 320px; " /></span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">Again with the faces.</span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Pd28tP0tmR8/TdII-_cYspI/AAAAAAAABog/1O2EhAlYOLc/s320/DSC_0281.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5607554364305093266" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 214px; height: 320px; " /></span></span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">He's so cute when he's in the nude. Lots. But instead, I'm going to post my pictures I just got about 2 minutes ago. Tessa has been dying to wear this little dress I got her for when we go to Myrtle Beach since I bought it for her like 3 months ago. Problem is, it's sleeveless and short, so obviously being the awesome mom I am, I'm not going to let her wear it when it's cold out. Plus, I don't want her to get it dirty. Anyway, so today she asks if she can please wear it again, and she promises to wear leggins (tights) and a cute sweater with it. Let me point out here, she said cute, not me. Obviously, I'm not going to let her wear an ugly sweater, but she felt the need to say that to convince me to let her wear it. So color me convinced. She picked out her whole outfit, and she actually didn't do too bad. So this is why I thought it was funny...</div><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oyna1crNNP0/TaiYSpfI2rI/AAAAAAAABnY/Ly68tmS0qOA/s320/DSC03119.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595889983149365938" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px; " /><div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3d3iHvT3lKQ/TaiYTA8ceoI/AAAAAAAABno/rXGHeSvo89E/s320/DSC03121.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595889989446302338" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px; " /></span></div></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KcKkXbTdmdU/TaiZZ1p_UZI/AAAAAAAABn4/1pOWOjLAb88/s320/DSC03120.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595891206186815890" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px; " /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">I asked her to take a picture, and this is what she did everytime. This is how I figure-if you don't already know what makes me so amazing, or where I've been, or who my celebrity crush is, then you may have no business reading up on my blog. Oh, but still read it. I'll let slide a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">lil</span> secret every once in a while. SO-like forever ago we got to go to New York. With kids. It was actually really fun, but definitely different. New York does not take kindly to double strollers. But it was really fun because we got to do things that we've never done to keep the kids interested. Alex was already in Albany working, so the kids and I flew out with my parents because I never travel without an entourage. Here's what happened.</div><div><div style="text-align: center;">We went to the Natural History Museum-you know, the one where Night at the Museum was supposedly filmed. I say supposedly because it is nothing like the movie. I mean, no way did they film any of it there. They don't even have <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">diorama</span> rooms. But it was still fun to see-and Tessa loved it for about 20 minutes</div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XkJ93bW-PqA/TZVe0ULYHEI/AAAAAAAABlo/lPla9s4nVGM/s320/DSC_0030.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590478765312973890" style="text-align: center;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">This is where they put all the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">dinos</span>. Stone would have freaked. Fun fact: if you watched Top Chef All Stars this season (go Richard Blaze) This is where they filmed the one challenge that they did Carnivores v Omnivores. And this is literally, the only picture of the whole trip with Alex in it. Literally.</span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qqWZZJaCSHU/TZVezzC6FGI/AAAAAAAABlY/nAQKTi4VFBA/s320/DSC_0019.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590478756419081314" style="text-align: center;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">Sully and Grandpa Ted. This may have been the one time Tessa was actually nice to my mom. It was more of a wing. But I have no clue why Tessa is so pissed off about the ostriches. She's just cannot believe her eyes in this picture. I totally knocked over a 2 year old in here too. And Sully loved it.</span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QN3Grjax9EY/TZVe0t2vrFI/AAAAAAAABlw/IufJv795TSA/s320/DSC_0032.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590478772205759570" style="text-align: center;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 214px; " /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">My mom loves taking pictures like these. I've never been to one of them, so I had no idea what to expect. We got zero pictures, so let me just paint one for you. Imagine if you will, a 3 story building. The first floor, the walls are lined with dolls-dolls with <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">blonde</span> hair, dolls with red hair. Some have freckles, some have buck teeth (no joke). Hundreds of dolls. Then, they have walls just for the clothes. Soccer uniforms, wedding dresses, ski outfits-you name it, they had it. Then you take the escalator to the second floor, where you can pick from American Girls Throughout History-those are the ones that have books with them. But they have full on giant display cases full of at least 20 of the same doll in different outfits. THEN, on the third floor is the hair salon-for dolls. And an ear piercing station. And the pet center. Oh, and in the bathrooms, there was a little shelf in every stall to place your doll while you do your thing. And one by the sinks, while you wash your hands. It was every father's worst nightmare. Especially Alex, who can't say no to Tessa even if his life depended on it. So, hundreds of dollars later, we left. And wanna know where that American Girl doll is now?</div><div style="text-align: center;">So do I.</div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bKwb1vASul0/TZVfugZTEII/AAAAAAAABmQ/pD6mQ8GliPI/s320/DSC_0046.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590479765025001602" style="text-align: center;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 214px; height: 320px; " /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">Tessa with Julie. Or Katie. Her name changed a few times. She had to have her-she seriously had a tantrum and a half to get it. And of course, she got it. I blame myself. I was once an owner of an American Girl. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;">We also went to Time Square to get tickets for a Broadway show-we ended up seeing Addams Family with Nathan Lane. It was awesome to see Nathan Lane, but the show was not the best. It had some good stuff, but I don't need to see it again. We don't have any pictures, but I do have some commemorative cups if you want to come over and see those. We also visited the M&M Factory for the kiddos. Tessa was indifferent to it until she saw all of the pink ones. Then we spent more money.</div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BLLcJl83Geg/TZVhiDWZcvI/AAAAAAAABmo/BUw7zpUfMS8/s320/DSC_0053.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5590481750093034226" style="text-align: center;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 214px; height: 320px; " /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">Tessa and her friend <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Baylee</span>. Well I'm gonna keep at it....I'm half way through. I have so much more stuff to blog about after this. I went to New York, Lady Gaga, and St. George, but you can't know about any of that because of this stupid blog challenge thing. So as soon as day 30 is done, expect a hurricane. It'll probably be sometime in May at the rate I'm going...</div><div style="text-align: center;">Day 16-Something You Are Looking Forward To</div><div style="text-align: center;">Um. Day 30 of this blog challenge, anyone? JK. I'm looking forward to April 7, which is only 1 week away sort of! Why, you might ask? Well because April 7, 2005, this magical thing happened...</div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 264px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lHZNmqnHMIw/TZE5asi3QrI/AAAAAAAABlA/T4PYRUboPvQ/s320/DSC_0310_1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589311743340266162" /><div style="text-align: center;">My First Kiss. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Ha. Just kidding. You all have to know I was pretty slutty in my younger days, so this was most definitely not my first kiss. BUT, April 7th is my 6 year anniversary. And I'm looking forward to it for sure. Since our first anniversary Alex always tells me we aren't going to do anything big, because he doesn't want to set any precedent. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Year 2 we went to New York. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Year 3 we went to a scary movie. (awesome)</div><div style="text-align: center;">Year 4 we went to Washington DC</div><div style="text-align: center;">Year 5 we went to NYC-again. </div><div style="text-align: center;">So doing good on the no precedent thing. So this year Alex was all hush hush about what we were going to do, then he decided he would tell me after I had a melt down about not being skinny...seriously, that's the truth. I'm really vain. Anyway, Alex planned an awesome anniversary. We are going to Park City to stay at the Waldorf Astoria-check it out, it's incredible. There are some perks to only having a weekend husband...it means he gets points that pay for hotels that we would never ever ever be able to afford. We are also going to eat at some awesome restaurant up there. I can't remember what it's called, and Alex isn't here right now so I can't ask him.</div><div style="text-align: center;">And I'm pretty sure he's getting me a karaoke machine. Or he'd better be, since I've asked for one every day for the past 3 months. Literally, every day. And I don't just ask, I sing for it. And then I say, "see, if I could get a karaoke machine, I wouldn't have to sing random things, I could sing actual songs." I'm pretty sure he loves it.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Day 17-Favorite Book</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; "><img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YUh3yse7kQM/TZE8C5hwSUI/AAAAAAAABlI/53RA7wAbBT0/s320/to-kill-a-mockingbird.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589314633043298626" style="display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 194px; height: 320px; " /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: underline; ">To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.
