Ok. So old news, but I had a baby...Alex finally put all of our pictures on and got them all beautified, so I can blog them. Here's the story of his birth...I know you are all wondering what happened. Thursday morning at 7:40 AM the nurse at IMC called me and said to come on in and they would induce me. So I did. And we had our baby. End of story.
Ha. That would be funny right? There's more detail. We went in, I got Pitocin at about 9:30 (the sweet little nurse was watching Regis and Kelly with us.) Then my doctor broke my water at 10-and I'm not even embarrassed that I asked for an epidural at 10:15. But alas, the anesthesiologist was in a C-Section, so he didn't show up until 11. So I had to suffer. THEN-the epidural didn't quite work as well as I would hope, because I could still feel every single contraction...and they were all in my back. Which they informed me could be because the baby was facing the wrong direction...so that sucked. So the anesthesiologist (who was a gem, believe me...) came back in and gave me more drugs. Those finally kicked in after about 10 minutes, but I seriously couldn't feel anything after that. They told me I was dilated to a 7, but I don't even remember anyone checking...drugs are awesome. So my family came and chit chatted, and then they were all, "hey we've got time, let's go eat at the cafeteria..." So they left. 10 minutes later, I told the nurse I was feeling some pressure in my belly, but I wasn't sure since I couldn't really feel anything. So she checks and immediately pages my doctor because apparently the baby was half out. I don't even feel gross about these images I'm giving people. So my doctor came in and got everything prepped, we had about a 5 minute discussion about Toy Story 3, and then I pushed 3 times and we had a baby. BUT the freaky part was after my first push, he tells the nurse that the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, but it was loose. Then, I didn't know he was out because he didn't cry. Like, not at all. And it was scary. But the doctor/nurse didn't seem worried because they just cleaned him off. Eventually he cried, but it was touch and go for a minute. And he was that creepy grayish color, which was creepy, as I mentioned before, so apparently everyone else was worried too. Thanks mom and sisters for not telling me. BUT not to worry, he is totally fine. AND lastly, I guess I didn't stop bleeding for a while. I wasn't aware until the next day when the doc told me...he's so sly. So Sullivan Devon Osborne was born at 2:44 PM. And don't worry guys-he's fing cute, so all the worry was for nothing. He looks EXACTLY like Tessa did when she was born. He looks different now, but still pretty close. Proof:
Baby Sully
And Baby Tessa-except she has a bow on. And her eyes are open. And she had jaundice.
Proud father. He didn't shave...forgive him.His aunts-they purposely dressed adorable that day...I looked pretty good too...Coleman. He looked cute too. And Tessa-she seriously loves him. It's so great/scary. She always wants to be around him and she asks to smell him quite a bit, which is cool-babies smell good. It's been good.
And now blogger won't let me upload any other pictures...so I'll have to load more later. Stay tuned!

Congrats on the new little one. He is a cutie! Sorry to hear about your uncomfortable labor experience, but if it makes you feel any better, my epidural wore off just before I had Becca, so I felt every little thing! It was awful and I think women who give birth without drugs are NUTS!!!! Hope you guys are doing well:)
